What are "Lost in Transit Goods"
All of the major courier companies, parcel force etc at some time will loose or damage parcels.
The insurance departments of these companies will attempt to reunite lost parcels with either the sender or the customer of the package(s). Where they can't, generally an insurance claim will have been made and the sender/customer will have been compensated. Damaged parcels generally will also have been compensated by an insurance claim. Once the title of ownership of the goods has passed to the courier company, the goods are sold off as salvage to recoup some of the loss.

We as a company look to purchase "salvage" either directly from the courier companies or we attend auctions country wide where the courier companies have placed the salvage items for sale via a public auction.
Goods offered for sale
Goods offered by our company for sale generally fall into three catagories:-
- Brand new goods in pristine condition with good packaging
- Brand new goods with cosmetically damaged boxes
- Damaged goods/boxes offered as described.
In all three cases there will generally be shipping labels on boxes which will have been removed.
Most of the goods purchased are offered for sale in our ebay shop in three ways:-
- By auction where the highest bidder wins the goods
- At a fixed price on the auction section
- From our ebay shop which can be accessed 24 hours a day, 365 days of the year

- All goods are offered with a no quibble guarantee, if it is not what we say it is return for refund
- Payment expected within 3 working days of purchase.
- 7 day return period to inform us of problems with goods
- Goods will generally be shipped within one working day after cleared payment
- Collection of goods for local customers is available
- Shipping charges quoted are generally the cheapest with alternatives including insurance cover.
- Payment by cash, postal order, cheque, credit/debit card & paypal accepted.
- Additional postage charges will apply for goods leaving the UK
- NO VAT for purchasers outside the EU
- VAT invoice will be provided on request.
- New, sealed goods will generally NOT be opened before sale & library pictures will be displayed on the sale advert.
Please note we are not offering a "try before you buy" service. We will only refund monies paid for goods if we have miss-described the goods or they are faulty when received. In this case please email returns@maralex-international.co.uk for a returns number.
We will be offering some goods for sale on the Special Offers page of the lost in transit section. These generally will be top quality products which will generally have a manufacturers warranty.
